Nintendo unveils Switch game console on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Want to play the latest games on the newest unreleased game consoles? Well then, maybe you should consider a career as a late-night television host because apparently that’s a huge perk.

Jimmy Fallon got to do just that Wednesday night on “The Tonight Show,” when Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s president, appeared on the show. First, Fils-Aime explained he was there to teach Fallon how to play the new Super Mario Run game ahead of its general release. (He did say that beginning Thursday us mere mortals can play a demo in any Apple Store, though.)

Then he introduced Shigeru Miyamoto, who was sitting casually in the audience. And then came Fist-Amie’s own personal one more thing

Pulling up a question block, he unveiled the console the world thought it was waiting for January to even glimpse: the Nintendo Switch. Fallon then got to play the Switch’s most anticipated game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Naturally, they start by playing on the big screen, but then pull out the handheld to continue.
