Fiat Chrysler will unveil two fully electric vehicles at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas early next month. These rumors come after FCA announced it would not be holding a press conference at the Detroit auto show, which starts just days after CES.

The two models are said to be based on the Chrysler Pacifica and a possible sports car for Maserati aimed at competing with Tesla, according to Bloomberg. FCA already sells a plug-in hybrid version of the Pacifica.

FCA recently partnered with Google to develop self-driving vehicles, which includes a fleet of Pacifica plug-in hybrid minivans. CES has gained in popularity among automakers that see the show as an opportunity to showcase new technologies ranging from electrification and automation, to advancements in engine technology and cutting-edge infotainment systems.
